The WLA/EL Sport Betting Seminar 2025 taking place in the vibrant city of Stockholm is an opportunity to keep you at the cutting edge of all the major developments in this dynamic and evolving environment.
A comprehensive program will cover the latest trends in betting offers, exploring emerging products and innovation, as well as the outcome of a market study highlighting the dynamics of both legal and illegal markets within the sport betting realm.
This seminar will also discuss the duty of care and operators’ responsibilities in legal markets and how to ensure sports integrity and combat illegal betting, with, for example, contributions from ULIS and the Council of Europe.
Specific attention will be given to how lotteries can revitalize sport betting though new technologies and how these can be integrated into competitive offerings. Topics including the risks and opportunities posed by AI, robotic betting and evolving media behaviors will also feature in the program.
This year's event coincides with the Ice Hockey World Cup, offering you the chance to attend the quarter-finals match on Thursday evening (May 22, 2025)* in the impressive Avicii Arena, the world’s 2nd largest globe! (*Seats are limited – first in, first served basis)

When?

- WLA/EL associate members EUR 2,295.– ex. VAT
- Non WLA/EL members EUR 3,195.– ex. VAT (Participation subject to approval by WLA/EL)
The fee includes participation in the seminar + meals during the seminar & evenings, breakfast, VAT, access to the gym, meeting rooms, technical assistance and 1 match ticket (upon availability).
ACCOMMODATION
Participants are requested to book their own accommodation. You can benefit from our preferential rate of SEK 3,295/night (EUR 290) for single occupancy for the nights May 21 & 22, by using this booking link. The rate is valid until March 7.
Accommodation can be cancelled at no cost until 14 days before arrival. The minimum stay for this booking is 2 nights. As this period is in high demand in Stockholm, we expect hotel rooms to be sold out very soon. Availability on a first come, first serve basis.
