Issue 59 of the WLA magazine looks back at some of the highlights of the long-awaited WLS 2022, which took place in Vancouver in October. It covers aspects of the WLA General Assembly and the sessions and topics covered by the keynote speakers and lottery industry experts panel sessions, as well as the different awards won for advertising, responsible gaming and outstanding contributions by individuals, to the positive evolution of our industry. Paying tribute to the late Guy Simonis
Tribute was paid to Guy Simonis on the closing night of WLS 2022. WLA President Rebecca Paul looked back at the life of the founding father of the WLA, who sadly passed away on 5 October at the age of 91, and recognized a career dedicated to the development of the global lottery industry.
